    Article summary

[ This is an optional feature. If you are happy with the current settings for payout, no action is required. ]

At the Payouts tab you can view the Payout balance, which is the amount of earnings you have accumulated so far. By the end of the payout cycle (15th to 18th of every month) you will receive these earnings via your registered payout method.

We've added a new feature to our platform called "payout threshold". This means that as a contributor, you'll need to earn a minimum amount of money before you can request a payout from the platform.

Think of it like this: let's say the payout threshold is $100. You won't be able to withdraw any money until you've earned at least $100 in earnings.

The payout threshold varies depending on the method you choose.
    PayPal threshold options:

    • $1 (default threshold amount)
    • $20
    • $100

    Payoneer threshold options:

    • $20 (default threshold amount)
    • $100

Example: If you have selected $20 as the threshold and when it is time for the payout to happen (every month between the 15th and 18th) and your earnings are less than $20, then you will not receive your earnings. The system will “wait” until you reach at least $20 in earnings to make a payout.
