    Article summary

At MotionElements, we are committed to fostering a transparent, ethical and creative environment for our contributors and buyers. As part of this commitment, we have established a clear policy for contributors who wish to upload AI-generated content. This ensures the proper categorization and compliance of such content while maintaining the integrity of our marketplace.

    General policy

MotionElements now accepts generative AI content under specific guidelines. To differentiate AI-generated content from traditional, manually created content, contributors are required to manage these types of content under separate contributor accounts.

    Contributor accounts

To upload your content, contributors must follow this structure:

    Contributor account (Traditional content):
Use this account to upload non-AI-generated content that you have filmed, created, or composed manually without the use of generative AI tools.

    AI-generated content account:
This account is required for uploading generative AI content or content that has been created using AI tools. This applies to media such as:

    • AI-generated videos
    • AI-generated images
    • AI-generated graphic templates or designs

Important: You cannot upload generative AI content to the traditional Contributor account.

    AI content submission guidelines

    Disclosure requirements:

    • All generative AI content must be reported as "AI-generated" during the upload process.
    • Please note that if you indicate "this is AI-generated" you cannot change it later.
    • Contributors must confirm that the AI tools used to create the content comply with licensing agreements and do not infringe on third-party rights.

To help you determine when to identify your content as generative AI, here are some practical examples:

Examples of when to identify content as Generative AI: Label your image as generative AI when the use of generative AI tools in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools changes, augments, or adds a new primary subject to an image.
    Examples include:

    • Generating new additions, such as a new person, animal, or object.
    • Making significant adjustments or changes to a human subject in an image.

Examples when labeling is not required: You are not obligated to label an image as generative AI when the following actions are performed:

    • Extending the background for compositional purposes.
    • Removing intellectual property or performing other forms of retouching.
    • Removing distracting objects or people.
    • Recoloring the background of an image.

    Quality standards:
Generative AI content must meet the same technical and artistic quality standards required for traditional content on MotionElements.

    Why two accounts?

Having two distinct accounts ensures clarity, transparency, and proper categorization within the marketplace. Buyers will be able to make informed decisions, knowing whether the content was created manually or with the help of AI tools.

    Ethical use of AI

    • AI-generated content must not include any illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate material.
    • Do not use generative AI tools to replicate real-world locations, property, or individuals without proper permissions.

    Copyright and ownership

    • Contributors must hold the rights to both the generative AI tool and any pre-existing elements used to create the content.
    • Submission of copyrighted material without proper authorization is strictly prohibited.
