Update your Motion template with “Editable in Final Cut Pro” label

1. Go to Manage Elements
2. Select the Edit button next to the product that you wish to update.
3. Scroll down to Category & Attributes. Click on the box Editable in Final Cut Pro.
4. Select Editable or No depending on the templates.

And your Motion Template will be good to go!
